As a mother of five, I created Tico Bites with a simple dream: to build a family business that brings people together through the flavors and spirit of Costa Rica.
We want every bite to be an invitation to discover something new -from the traditional recipes we grew up with to the warmth, joy, and Pura Vida that make our culture so special.
Tico Bites is our way of bringing a little piece of Costa Rica to every table, creating new memories around food, and building something our family can grow togetherf and carry into future.

Tico Bites has grown naturally within our community—from sharing our food with neighbors, friends, and coworkers to receiving our first orders, recommendations, and invitations to be part of special celebrations.
Today, we proudly participate in local fairs and community events, while bringing our Costa Rican flavors to family celebrations, social gatherings, and special occasions throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Every new connection allows us to introduce more people to Costa Rican food, share our traditions, and bring a little Pura Vida spirit to every table.
Now a registered and permitted food business, Tico Bites continues to grow alongside our community while staying true to what brought us here: sharing good food, creating connections, and bringing people together.
